The world reveals itself to those who travel on foot
— Werner Herzog

The Lycian Way is a 540km hiking trail that runs through the south coast of Turkey, between the cities of Fethiye and Antalya. Way-marked with red and white markers, the Lycian Way follows the coast passing through mountainous villages, coastal beaches, and everything in between. In January 2021, I set out to hike part of the Lycian Way. I ended up having some of the most profound experiences of my life, from near death encounters to some of the most challenging hikes I’ve ever done, creating deep and meaningful relationships along the way. The photos below detail my short adventure.
