Yazan Aboushi is a Palestinian-American photographer and storyteller currently residing in Washington DC. Aboushi began his career in photography when he realized that he could use photography to tell the story of his people and bridge the gap between his east and west identities. A passionate environmentalist and educator, Aboushi thrives at the intersection of conservation and storytelling, specializing in environmental justice and education. From the rolling hills of Palestine to the golden shores of the Chesapeake Bay, Aboushi uses storytelling to foster genuine relationships between people and their environments.

Aboushi’s skills in digital storytelling are versatile, including aerial photography as a licensed drone pilot, film photography (35mm and 120mm), studio lighting, and mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro and Lightroom.
